The Drents-Friese Wold National Park is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands and one of the most beautiful and important nature reserves in Europe.
It consists of forests, heath lands and drift-sands. It is sure that people lived in this area already in the Stone Age. In the landscape several graves from that time are visible.
You can find The Drents-Friese Wold National Park in the Dutch provinces of Friesland and Drenthe, covering more than 61 km2 It’s a perfect place for a hike or do some cycling.
